Trailer Park – Deus Ex : Human Revolution

Deus Ex Human Revolution
Square-Enix France just posted your cinematic look at Eidos Monteal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Following a proud Square tradition, this glimpse is entirely free of insights into what playing the game might be like, but it does have at least eight out of ten essential sci-fi nutrients – so I’m terribly torn and feeling like as far as watching goes this is pretty slick.

The Icarus bit seems to lay it on a bit thick, but whatcha gonna do?

If you enjoy the dystopian vistas of Stand Alone Complex as much as I do, then you should probably take a peak after the break.

Your Earth Seeker Art Break

Earth Seeker
Famitsu was good enough to put up some first look images for an original Wii title called Earth Seeker this week. In development by Crafts & Meisters, word is that the game is an action title scheduled to be released in Japan this Winter.

If the developer can convincingly translate the tiny bit of art being shown, I’d gladly get on board for whatever monster battling situations the game has to offer. Based on what I’ve read so far with Guardian creatures and environmental hazards, the game actually sounds like some potentially amazing apocalyptic Pikman title – so set your fingers to crossed for me.

You can catch a glimpse of some artwork after the break, which is what instantly grabbed me.

Who Is Joe Danger?

Joe Danger
On this slowest of gaming news days, Hello Games takes center stage on the PlayStation Blog with news and another look at their cartoon stuntman title Joe Danger.

The game adheres to Sony’s Play, Create, Share philosophy, allowing players to create challenges and races for friends – at anytime whilst riding through the game players can freeze the world and enter an edit mode.

Hello Games says the title is also made up of eleven tours with up to ten levels a piece to offer modes like Target Smash, Assault Course, Race, Coin Dash, Bowling Bounce and a Puzzle Mode.

Doesn’t seem to be any word on pricing just yet, which is always a doubly important factor when considering the mileage on such titles – Hello Games did say they were working to keep the European release date as close to North America’s as possible.

With the game set to launch via the PlayStation Network on June 8, 2010, I’d expect some more info soon. In the meantime you can catch a trailer after the break.

It’s my hope that this will help us organize future Gamesugar contests, events both online and locally, and provide some much needed space for you to claim some territory of your own here.

The only reason I ended up writing about gaming at all is because of how much I enjoy talking to other gamers, so I hope you’ll take some time out today to take a look and register.

Ivy the Kiwi Mini

Ivy the Kiwi Mini
I was thumbing through the June issue of Nintendo Power today, specifically for an interview with Prope Studio founder Yuji Naka discussing his latest title, Ivy the Kiwi. The article includes a brief blurb for Ivy the Kiwi Mini, a lighter version of the game releasing for DSiWare and WiiWare after the retail release later this summer – which Amazon figures is August 24, 2010 at present.

Knowing that Japan received Ivy in both retail and digital form didn’t make that blurb surprising, but it did mention that DS owners should keep an eye out for a demo in late May. Since May is just about over, I asked our friendly neighborhood XSEED rep what the story was.

While there’s no exact date just yet, I can confirm that there will be demos for both the Wii and DS later this summer, and that the WiiWare demo will even offer a taste of multiplayer with the versus mode, but not co-op.

Now you know, and I hear knowledge is power.

Random Acts of Tron

Tron: Evolution
Whilst grabbing images to use for our review of Split/Second I came across some images for Tron: Evolution, and long story short you’re getting this post before that review. I’m sure the images have been around for quite awhile and are only new to me, but I’m also fairly confident that you can never have too much Tron.

With that in mind you can catch a glimpse for yourself after the break.

Airport 51 Exists

Airport 51
While many of us having been enjoying No More Heroes 2 since the Winter, many more poor European souls had to wait for the chance to slice and dice their way to the top of the assassin ranks again. As if to offer some sympathy however, those in London have a chance to visit and shop at an recreation of Travis’ favorite clothing outlet, Airport 51.

From May 28 until June 4, Chateau Roux’s independent shop based in Carnaby Street has been rebranded as the clothing store from the game, where clothing endorsed by Suda 51 waits to bite at the wallet.

I have a hunch that, much like in the game, I couldn’t afford to shop there – but if anyone overseas wants to send me a Bizarre Jelly 5 t-shirt out of love, we could probably be BFF.

Catch some images after the break.
