EA sent word that we’ll be able to get a taste of Isaac Clarke’s trip through The Sprawl before the release on January 25, 2011, with a demo of Dead Space 2 hitting Xbox Live worldwide and the PlayStation Network in North America on December 21, 2010 – European PS3 owners have to wait one more day for a December 22nd release.
Additional word is that said demo offers a walk through the Church of Unitology, so maybe remember to say your prayers before playing, anything with religion involved is apt to be frightening.
Spooky ooky dead things in space! Here’s hoping EA hasn’t boned the single player game experience in favor of the unnecessary multiplayer inclusion… seeing EA believes that single player games are “finished”.

I read that too heh.
When I think horror I think co-op now, largely thanks to RE5 and L4D, which is a big shift from the years of solo survival horror, though I think I’m more apt to paly through some now because of the company – but if silent hill ever goes multiplayer I may quit gaming.

Really liked the first one (and Extraction on the Wii) so I’ll be buying the CE of the game… if I still have money in January.
