Demon's Souls
Atlus sent the word, Demon’s Souls has made the red jacket club on the PS3 and will be hitting shelves for $29.99. Atlus didn’t mention if this means they’ll be keeping the servers on longer, currently their commitment is to keep the lights on until March 2011 – so let’s all be sure to bug them about that.

Can you believe Sony didn’t publish this game?

  1. I’m actually glad they didn’t (Sony publish that is…) because I’d highly doubt that the awesome Limited Edition would have been made if it wasn’t for Atlus (even though Namco/Bandai did it in Europe too!) This is good news though! Hopefully Sony doesn’t bully it’s way into getting Demon’s Souls 2 if it were to come to fruition.

  2. I’m sure I remember Sony, possibly Europe, saying they felt dumb as a stump for passing it up – expressing interest in fixing that should a sequel pop up :/

  3. I was waiting for a sequel to be announced at TGS but nothing showed up… unless we consider the next game from the same developer as a “spiritual sequel”.
