Radiant Historia
Atlus sends word that the game will hit North American DS’ early next year, February 22, 2011 to be specific. As often is the case, Atlus is including a bonus with launch copies of the release, which will include an audio CD with “unique piano arrangements from composer Yoko Shimomura’s acclaimed musical score.”

My initial reaction is, ppfft, this isn’t Catherine, but I guess since the game involves time travel I’ll let this oversight slide, for now.

Meanwhile you catch a trailer after the break.

  1. Is the central image of a guy or a girl? Can never tell nowadays!

  2. I’ll assume it’s a girl with the heart earrings… but… I may just be making an ass out of you and me.

Looking at one of the released bio images, that person clearly appears to be a female.

Anyways, this was completely out of the blue and awesomely unexpected, since it sold horribly in Japan. I’m loving the whole dark, multi-branch, time-traveling motif, and it’s done by noneother than Atlus’ own Shin Megami Tensei development team. And though I’m not the kind of person to look at numbers, I’d say a 35/40 from Famitsu is pretty darn good.

  4. Love how Atlus always gives us soundtracks an extras. I blame myself for not pre-ordering Etrian Oddysey 3 but Dark Spire, Knights in the Knightmare and all their other games(artbook, soundtrack et all) are happily in my collection.
